Are we listening to what young people say they need? Are we integrating their voices and experiences into our HIV prevention efforts? And are we considering the unique opportunities and challenges to educating and counseling young people about PrEP as a tool to supporting their sexual health? Come listen and learn directly from young people about the gaps in their sexual health education, their challenges to accessing information about PrEP and PrEP itself, and what they want you, as adult allies, advocates, and providers, to know to help address their PrEP and sexual health needs and rights.
1. Reflect on the unique needs, opportunities, and challenges of expanding PrEP information, counseling, and provision to young people.
2. Expand adult ally, advocate, and provider intentional efforts and integration of youth perspectives and representation in PrEP outreach activities.
